Time For A Shift In Thinking About Mineral Exploration

With all the protests and anti mining legislation in the news, it's important to point out that the Earth's mineral resources will and must continue to be mined because the population of the world demands industrial mineral exploration to fill certain needs of our expansion.
It's foolish to think we can go back to the environmental ideals of the last century when dealing with inescapable current and future problems.
We are at a tipping point right now where the quality of potable water and the air we breath on this planet are in danger of irrevocable deterioration we can ill afford
It's much better to face the reality that the planet will inevitably be changed to conform to the needs of the people who inhabit it and how best to go about it in a least harmful way.
Once we face this inescapable fact, more attention will be placed on technologies that produce the least harmful footprint. Hopefully, disruptive technologies will be utilized as a compromise between the greed of industry and the environment of the planet.
