Sinn Fein 'oppose use of cyanide in mining' after unanimous vote at Ard Fheis

Sinn Fein members have passed the party’s first policy on mining at the Ard Fheis in Dublin over the weekend.Delegates from south Armagh introduced the motion, which was adopted following a unanimous voteIn it the party has agreed a stance of opposition to the use of cyanide in mining “due to its detrimental environmental and health implications”.
