Ghanaians awoken to the reality of the supposed “Gold Rush ” catapulted by the Chinese invasion of the Ghanaian Mining industry, with the destruction of Ghana’s water bodies creating what is now known as the “Golden Curse”.
This destruction is eroding away the livelihood of communities far and near to these Water bodies, creating a national threat of Water shortage which could eventually lead to the government of Ghana having to import drinking water to meet the demands of its citizenry.
