UNEP-CCOP-GSJ/AIST Workshop on the Risk Management of Mercury in and around the Artisanal/Small-Scale Gold Mining Sites

CCOP in cooperation with Geological Survey of Japan (GSJ), AIST, organized the Technical Workshop on the Risk Management of Mercury in and around the Artisanal/Small-Scale Gold Mining Sites (ASGM) on 21 November 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting is within the framework of the UNEPProject entitled “Risk management of mercury contamination in Asia and the Pacific”, funded by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and led by Dr. Satoshi Murao from the Institute for Geo-Resources and Environment, GSJ/AIST.
