Due to limited capacity, exploitation with a low level of
mechanization, the majority of small mines now only can get the parts of
richest reserves, leave the entire poor ores along with other minerals.
For example, the processing of gold ore ( total recovery
) currently returns about 30% -40%, meaning that more than half is
discharged into landfill sites, not only making loss but also causing
serious environmental pollution
