opinion; [c] press releases often are run almost verbatim in Western
media venues; [d] press statements are generally deceptive, at best, and
usually they are blatant lies; [e] mining companies do NOT ‘limit
the pollution of rivers’; [f] not anywhere: not in the USA, or Papua
New Guinea or Congo or Mongolia; [g] the statement (concept) is
meaningless: they are leeching deadly cyanide and sulfuric acid into the
pristine rivers of rural Mongolia; [h] in any case: mining operations
are responsible for diverting and drying up entire rivers; [i] and they
do not, in any way, ‘limit the displacement of local herders’.
