Polluted Pond Still Spilling Into Edith River

The retaining pond is regularly tested for heavy metals by Vista Gold, but the company has refused to release the last known results.
On Thursday, the firm said telling the public would "confuse" people as the pond was only half-full before the floods, so the metal contamination would have been greatly diluted before it spilled into the river system.
