Galamsey Fight: MD for Ghana Water Company Limited Dismisses Calls for State of Emergency

 Speaking at a press conference in Accra on Monday, October 20, 2025, Mr. Mutawakilu dismissed calls for a state of emergency, adding that if a state of emergency is declared in a particular area, there will be galamsey ongoing at another site, which will demand another state of emergency.
