The continuing action against illegal mining that has affected scores of Chinese nationals and investigations into fires that have razed down markets were some of the stories that dominated Ghanaian newspapers this week.
China this week held another round of talks with the Ghanaian government following the arrest and repatriation of scores of its nationals engaged in illegal small-scale mining that has been degrading the environment, destroying forests and damaging water bodies.
