Papua New Guinea: Cyanide Spill At Hidden Valley And The Eels That Died

Reliable sources within Morobe Mining Joint Venture, which owns the Hidden Valley mine, have confirmed that the reason for the deaths of eels and other aquatic life along the Markham River is a cyanide spill at the mine site..........
Last week angry landholders started blocking access to the mine site in frustration at the continued pollution of their rivers.
